Vanilla Swirl Bundt Cake
🛒 Ingredients
- Dry ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- Wet ingredients:
- 250g butter (softened)
- 1½ cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- For the swirl:
- 2–3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare your pan
Grease your Bundt pan very well (important!)
Lightly dust with flour to prevent sticking
2. Mix the batter
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each
Stir in vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, alternating with milk
3. Make the swirl
Take about 1 cup of the batter
Mix with cocoa powder, milk, and sugar
4. Layer & swirl
Pour half of the plain batter into the pan
Add the chocolate batter in random spots
Pour the remaining plain batter on top
Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl (don’t overmix)
5. Bake
Bake at 170–180°C for 45–55 minutes
Insert a toothpick — if it comes out clean, it’s ready
6. Cool & serve
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes
Turn out onto a rack and allow to cool completely
✨ Optional glaze (for extra beauty)
Mix powdered sugar + a little milk + vanilla
Drizzle over the cake for that bakery finish
