Tea Orange Loaf Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 & 1/2 cups cake or all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup softer butter ( unsalted)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 bag of a tea leaf
- 2 Tbsp finely grated orange zest
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
1. Prep: Preheat oven to 180 Degrees Celsius. Grease and line a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl add the tea leaf ( open it and spill it in the bowl ).
3. Add butter , orange zest and sugar. Cream together until light and fluffy.
4. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
5. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. And mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
6.Bake for 60 minutes or until deep golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
