You don't need a special occasion to make something delicious at home.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 130g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 70ml sunflower or corn oil
- 120ml milk
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 14g baking powder
- 150g chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 20cm (8-inch) cake tin.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is lighter in color and frothy.
Add the vanilla extract, oil, and milk. Mix well until combined.
Sift the flour and baking powder together and gradually add them to the mixture, gently mixing until you have a smooth batter.
Toss the chocolate chips in a tablespoon of flour. This helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom.
Add the chocolate chips to the batter and fold them in gently. Pour the batter into the pan.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, and then unmold.
Let it cool completely before cutting.
