Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 6–7 pineapple rings

 • Maraschino cherries (optional)

Cake Batter:

 • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

 • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

 • 1/4 tsp salt

 • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

 • 3/4 cup sugar

 • 2 eggs

 • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions:

 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

 2. Melt butter and pour into a cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly.

 3. Arrange pineapple rings and cherries on top.

 4. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

 5. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla.

 6. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately.

 7. Pour batter over fruit.

 8. Bake 40–45 minutes.

 9. Cool 10 minutes, then flip onto a plate.

2. Apple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 2 apples (sliced)

 • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cake Batter: Same as pineapple cake.

Instructions:

 1. Melt butter and brown sugar in pan.

 2. Arrange apple slices and sprinkle cinnamon.

 3. Prepare cake batter.

 4. Pour batter over apples.

 5. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.

 6. Invert after cooling slightly.

3. Banana Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 2 ripe bananas (sliced)

Cake Batter: Same as pineapple cake.

Instructions:

 1. Prepare butter and brown sugar in pan.

 2. Layer banana slices evenly.

 3. Prepare and pour batter.

 4. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40–45 minutes.

 5. Cool and flip.

4. Peach Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 3 peaches (sliced)

Cake Batter: Same as pineapple cake.

Instructions:

 1. Spread melted butter and brown sugar in pan.

 2. Place peach slices in a circular design.

 3. Add prepared batter.

 4. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40–45 minutes.

 5. Rest 10 minutes and invert.

5. Berry Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry)

Cake Batter: Same as pineapple cake.

Instructions:

 1. Melt butter and sprinkle brown sugar.

 2. Spread berries evenly.

 3. Pour cake batter over fruit.

 4. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.

 5. Cool slightly and flip.

6. Cranberry Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients:

Topping:

 • 1/4 cup butter

 • 1/2 cup brown sugar

 • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries

Cake Batter: Same as pineapple cake.

Instructions:

 1. Melt butter and brown sugar in cake pan.

 2. Spread cranberries evenly.

 3. Add cake batter.

 4. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 45 minutes.
