📝 Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 150 g sugar (¾ cup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 ml milk (½ cup)
  • 100 ml vegetable oil (⅓ cup)
  • 220 g all-purpose flour (about 1¾ cups)
  • 10 g baking powder (2 tsp)
  • Pinch of salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan (20–22 cm).

In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar until pale, thick, and fluffy (about 4–5 minutes).

Add vanilla, then slowly mix in oil and milk.

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gently fold dry ingredients into the batter using a spatula (do not overmix).

Pour batter into the pan and tap lightly to remove air bubbles.

Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.

Eggs must be room temperature
