Chocolate Raspberry Cake 🍫🍰
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- Whipped cream or frosting of your choice
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
5. Fold in fresh raspberries gently.
6. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cakes to cool completely before frosting with whipped cream or your favorite frosting.
9. Decorate with additional raspberries on top.
