- ½ teaspoon salt
For the chocolate ganache:
- 400 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 400 ml heavy cream
For decoration:

- Chocolate shavings

Making Process
1. Preheat oven: Preheat to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line three 8-inch round cake pans.
2. Mix dry ingredients: Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
3. Prepare batter: Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Gradually stir in hot water until combined. The batter will be thin.
4. Bake cake: Divide batter evenly between the pans. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
5. Cool cake: Allow cakes to cool in their pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
6. Make ganache: Heat heavy cream until steaming, pour over chopped chocolate, and let sit for 3 minutes. Stir until smooth. Cool until thick and spreadable.
7. Assemble layers: Place the first cake layer on a plate and spread with ganache. Repeat with the second and third layers.
8. Frost cake: Cover the top and sides with chocolate ganache. Smooth using a spatula.
9. Decorate: Add chocolate drips around the edges, pipe chocolate rosettes on top, and press chocolate chips around the sides.
10. Chill cake: Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes to set the ganache.
11. Slice cake: Cut into generous slices using a sharp knife.
12. Serve: Enjoy your rich, moist, fudgy chocolate cake with creamy chocolate layers.
