STRAWBERRY TRES LECHES CAKE

Ingredients

  • For the Cake:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • For the Tres Leches Milk:

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup fresh milk

  • For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (blended)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • For the Whipped Cream Frosting:

  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

1. Bake the Cake:

1. Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease your baking pan.

2. In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.

4. Add flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.

5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes.

6. Let cake cool completely.

2. Prepare the Milk Mixture:

1. Mix evaporated milk, condensed milk, and fresh milk together.

2. Set aside.

3. Prepare the Strawberry Filling:

1. Blend strawberries and sugar together until smooth.

2. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes to slightly thicken.

3. Let it cool.

4. Soak the Cake:

1. Poke holes all over the cooled cake with a fork.

2. Slowly pour the tres leches milk over the cake.

3. Let it soak for at least 1 hour.

5. Add Strawberry Layer:

1. Spread the strawberry mixture evenly over the soaked cake.

6. Frost the Cake:

1. Whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until thick.

2. Spread over the cake and decorate with fresh strawberries.
