Spiderman cheesecake
𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- For the Red Velvet Cake Layers:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- For the Spiderweb Topping:
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon black gel food coloring

Prepare the Red Velvet Cake Layers:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla.
Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then add to the butter mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar and vanilla, and mix well.
Add eggs one at a time, then blend in sour cream.
Pour into a springform pan lined with parchment paper and bake at 325°F (163°C) for 55-60 minutes. Cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then chill.
Assemble the Cheesecake:
Layer red velvet cake layers with cheesecake filling in between.
Prepare the Spiderweb Topping:
Heat white chocolate chips and heavy cream until melted and smooth.
Stir in black gel food coloring.
Drizzle over the cheesecake in a spiderweb pattern.
