Rich & Moist Chocolate Bundt Cake
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1½ cups sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
• 1 cup hot coffee or hot water (enhances chocolate flavor)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional
• ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pan
• Grease a Bundt cake pan very well with butter or baking spray.
• Lightly dust with flour.
2. Preheat Oven
• Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
3. Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl whisk together:
• flour
• cocoa powder
• sugar
• baking powder
• baking soda
• salt
4. Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl whisk:
• eggs
• milk
• oil or melted butter
• vanilla
5. Combine
• Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
• Mix until smooth.
• Slowly add hot coffee or hot water and mix (the batter will be thin — that’s normal).
• Fold in chocolate chips if using.
6. Bake
• Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
• Bake 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool
• Let the cake cool 15–20 minutes, then gently turn it out onto a rack.
Easy Chocolate Glaze 🍫
Mix together:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder
• 3–4 tbsp milk
• ½ tsp vanilla
Drizzle over the cooled cake.
