Red Velvet Cheesecake 🍰❤️
📝 Ingredients:
For the Red Velvet Cake Layers:
🌾 1½ cups all-purpose flour
🍫 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
🧂 ½ tsp baking soda
🧂 ¼ tsp salt
🧈 ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
🍬 1 cup granulated sugar
🥚 2 large eggs
🥛 ½ cup buttermilk
❤️ 1 tsp red food coloring
🥄 1 tsp vanilla extract
🥄 ½ tsp white vinegar
For the Cheesecake Layer:
🧀 16 oz cream cheese, softened
🍬 ½ cup granulated sugar
🥚 2 large eggs
🥄 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
🧈 ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
🧀 8 oz cream cheese, softened
🍬 2–2½ cups powdered sugar
🥄 1 tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the Cheesecake Layer:
🔥 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
🥣 Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
🧁 Pour into a greased 9-inch springform pan.
🔥 Bake 35–40 minutes. Cool, then freeze until firm.
2. Make the Red Velvet Cake Layers:
🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round pans.
🧈 Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar.
🌾 Whisk flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Add to wet mixture alternately with buttermilk.
🧁 Divide batter between pans and bake 25–30 minutes. Cool completely.
3. Make the Frosting:
🧈 Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add vanilla, then powdered sugar gradually until fluffy.
4. Assemble the Cake:
🎂 Layer one red velvet cake, cheesecake, then the second cake.
