Ingredients:
For the Brownie Bread:
- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (220 g) packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (90 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (175 g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
For the Hot Fudge Sauce:
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (60 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
1. Preheat your oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Make the Brownie Bread Batter:
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake the Brownie Bread:
7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Make the Hot Fudge Sauce:
9. While the brownie bread is baking, prepare the hot fudge sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
10. Stir in the granulated sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.
11. Gradually add the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and heated through. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Cool and Serve:
12. Once the brownie bread is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
13. Slice the brownie bread and serve warm, drizzled with the hot fudge sauce. You can also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!
Enjoy this ultimate chocolate treat that combines the rich flavors of brownies with a decadent hot fudge sauce!
