Homemade flan, delicious and easy to make
Ingredients
For the flan:
• 5 eggs
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
For the caramel:
• 1 cup sugar
Preparation
1. Caramel
In a saucepan, add the sugar over medium heat.
Let it melt slowly until it turns amber.
Immediately pour it into the mold and tilt the mold to coat the bottom.
2. Flan mixture
In a blender, add:
• eggs
• sweetened condensed milk
• evaporated milk
• milk
• vanilla extract
Blend until smooth.
3. Pour into the mold
Pour the mixture over the caramel in the mold.
4. Bake
Place the mold in a baking dish filled with hot water (water bath).
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 50–60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
5. Cool
Let cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
6. Unmold
Run a knife around the edges, place a plate on top, and invert.
✨ It's very creamy, smooth, and has plenty of caramel.
