Marble Loaf Cake

​The Goods:

​Dry: 2 cups flour, 2 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp salt.

​Wet: ¾ cup softened butter, 1 cup sugar, 3 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, ½ cup milk.

​The Swirl: 2 tbsp cocoa powder + 2 tbsp extra milk.

​The Process:

​Prep: Oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease your loaf pan.

​Mix: Whisk dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla.

​Combine: Fold dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with milk.

​Marble: Split the batter. Stir cocoa and extra milk into one half. Drop alternating spoonfuls into the pan and swirl with a knife.

​Bake: 45–50 minutes until clean. Cool before slicing.
