Mango Chiffon Cake 🥭☁️✨
Ingredients:
**Cake:**
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup mango puree
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
**Mango Glaze:**
- 1/2 cup mango puree
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
**Topping:**
- Fresh mango slices
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch tube pan.
2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat egg yolks, half the sugar, oil, mango puree, and vanilla.
4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form, then gradually add remaining sugar, beating to stiff peaks.
6. Gently fold egg whites into the batter.
7. Pour into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden. Let cool.
8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cake.
9. Garnish with fresh mango slices before serving.
