Orange and chocolate marble loaf
Ingredients
- 1 cup cake or all purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 seedless orange 🍊
- 2 eggs
- 2 & 1/2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
1. Cut the orange in small pieces. Don’t peel the orange.
2. In a blender add the small pieces of orange , eggs and sugar . Blend until you get a juice like consistency.
3. Pour the mixture in a large bowl . Add the oil and vanilla and mix .
4. Sift in flour , salt and baking powder. Gently mix .
5. Divide the batter (mixture) into two equal portions . In one batter add the sifted cocoa powder. Mix until combined .
6. Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
7. Scoop out the batter using a tablespoon. Scoop out the two batters interchangeably.
* Scoop chocolate batter first add in the loaf pan then scoop the orange batter and add it on top of the chocolate batter .
Repeat this process until there is no mixture left in both bowls .
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees Celsius for 45-50 minutes or until well baked . *Baking time depends on your oven *
