Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe 🧁
Ingredients
• 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup (150g) sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil (or melted butter)
• 1 cup (240ml) milk
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line your muffin tray with paper cups.
2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk well.
4. Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix gently.
• Do NOT overmix — lumps are okay.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Scoop batter into your muffin cups, filling them ¾ full. Add extra chocolate chips on top.
7. Bake for 5 minutes at 200°C, then reduce heat to 180°C (350°F) and continue baking for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Let cool slightly and enjoy!
