✓ Ingredients :

👉 For the Chocolate Cake :

+ 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.

+ 1 cup granulated sugar.

+ 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.

+ 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.

+ 1/2 tsp baking soda.

+ 1/4 tsp salt.

+ 1/2 cup vegetable oil.

+ 2 large eggs.

+ 1 cup buttermilk.

+ 1 tsp vanilla extract.

+ 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.

👉 For the Mint Cheesecake Filling :

+ 1 cup cream cheese, softened.

+ 1/2 cup granulated sugar.

+ 1/2 cup sour cream.

+ 1 tsp peppermint extract.

+ 1/2 cup heavy cream.

+ 1 tbsp powdered sugar.

👉 For Garnish : 

+ Fresh mint leaves.

✓✓ Instructions : 

I- Bake the Cake Layers : 

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans. Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add oil, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth, then fold in chocolate chips. Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.

II- Make Cheesecake Filling : 

Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in sour cream and peppermint extract. Separately, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mix.

III- Assemble the Cake : 

Spread cheesecake filling between cooled cake layers and on top.

IV- Garnish & Serve : 

Top with fresh mint leaves for an extra pop of color and flavor. Slice and enjoy this refreshing chocolate mint sensation
