Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart

Ingredients

  • For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups (201g) Oreo crumbs
  • 4 tbsp (82g) butter, melted

  • For the Peanut Butter Ganache:

  • 6 oz (170g) peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream

  • For the Chocolate Ganache:

  • 6 oz (170g) chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy whipping cream

  • Topping:

  • 12–15 mini Reese’s, quartered

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with melted butter until well combined.

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. Set aside.

Make the Peanut Butter Ganache:

Place peanut butter chips into a microwave-safe bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream to the bowl, making sure the cream mostly covers the chips.

Microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until the cream starts to boil.

Remove from the microwave and whisk until smooth.

Pour the peanut butter ganache into the prepared crust and spread into an even layer.

Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until the peanut butter layer is fairly firm.

Make the Chocolate Ganache:

Place chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl.

Add the remaining 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream to the bowl, ensuring the cream mostly covers the chips.

Microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until the cream starts to boil.

Remove from the microwave and whisk until smooth.

Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter ganache and spread into an even layer.

Add the Topping:

Gently press quartered mini Reese’s into the top of the chocolate ganache.

Chill and Serve:

Refrigerate the tart until firm, about 1 hour.

Remove from the tart pan before serving.
