Cream nut cake with 220 g nuts

Ingredients 

  • For the dough:

  • 120 g sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 220 g nuts, ground
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • a little bitter almond flavor
  • 8 egg whites
  • 120 g sugar

  • For the filling:

  • 420 ml cream
  • sugar as desired

Preparation

Here's how:

First grease the bottom of a springform pan and preheat the oven to 185°C.

1. Now beat the sugar with the egg yolks until foamy, add the nuts, breadcrumbs and the bitter almond oil. Then beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff, fold into the egg yolk mixture and pour into the pan.

 (note: The dough is very rich, don't put too much in the tin as it could overflow

2. Now bake in the oven for about 40 minutes (maybe a little longer, just do the toothpick test)

3. Finally, cut the base in half crosswise after it has cooled. Now whip the cream with sugar until stiff and fill and decorate the cake with it. It really tastes fantastic and very delicious!
