Chocolate Nut Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

 • 2 cups chocolate chips — 340g

 • 1 can sweetened condensed milk — 395g

 • ½ cup butter — 113g

 • 1 cup roasted peanuts or mixed nuts, chopped — 150g

 • ¼ cup cocoa powder — 25g

 • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method

Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

Add the butter and condensed milk to a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously until the butter melts and the mixture is smooth.

Add the chocolate chips and cocoa powder. Continue stirring over low heat until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture becomes thick, smooth and glossy.

Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.

Fold in the chopped roasted nuts until evenly distributed.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread the top evenly with a spatula.

Allow it to cool, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until completely firm.

Remove from the pan and cut into neat squares.

🍫 Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Tip: For an extra-rich fudge, use a combination of milk chocolate and dark chocolate chips.
