Chocolate Oat Bars (no-bake style) 🍫
🧾 Ingredients
- Base:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup crushed biscuits (optional, for extra texture)
- ½ cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
- ½ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate layer:
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)
- ½ cup peanut butter
- Topping:
- ½ cup oats (lightly toasted)
- Extra melted chocolate for drizzle
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the base
In a bowl, mix:
oats
crushed biscuits
peanut butter
honey
vanilla
Stir well until everything is fully combined and sticky.
2. Shape the base
Press the mixture firmly into a lined square pan.
Make sure it’s even and compact.
3. Make the chocolate layer
Melt chocolate chips with peanut butter (microwave or bain-marie).
Stir until smooth and glossy.
4. Assemble
Pour the chocolate mixture over the base.
Spread evenly with a spatula.
5. Add topping
Sprinkle toasted oats on top.
Drizzle extra melted chocolate for decoration.
6. Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
7. Serve
Cut into squares and enjoy!
💡 Tips
For a firmer bar: add 1–2 tbsp melted butter to the base
For extra crunch: add chopped nuts
Keep refrigerated for best texture
