Instructions:
1. Prepare the Cookie Dough Crust:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until the dough just comes together. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
5. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or a round cake pan lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the center is still soft. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding to the next layer.
2. Add the Ice Cream Layer:
1. Let your vanilla ice cream soften slightly at room temperature for about 10 minutes to make it easier to spread.
2. Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the cooled cookie dough crust. Use the back of a spoon or an offset spatula to smooth it out.
3. If desired, sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the ice cream layer for extra texture and flavor.
4. Place the cake in the freezer to harden for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
3. Prepare the Whipped Cream Topping:
1. When ready to serve, whip the whipped cream until soft peaks form. (You can add a little powdered sugar or vanilla extract for extra flavor if desired.)
2. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the ice cream layer, creating a smooth top.
4. Add Final Decorations:
1. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the whipped cream, or drizzle with chocolate syrup for extra indulgence.
5. Serve:
1. Slice the cake into wedges and serve immediately. Enjoy the ultimate combination of chewy cookie dough, creamy ice cream, and whipped cream!

Tips:
• Use chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream instead of vanilla for an extra cookie dough kick!
• For a more festive look, top with sprinkles, or drizzle with caramel sauce alongside the chocolate syrup.
• To make this cake in advance, prepare it a day ahead, keeping it tightly covered in the freezer until ready to serve.
