Chocolate Oat Fudge Bars
🧾 Ingredients
- For the base
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup crushed biscuits or graham crackers
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ cup peanut butter (optional but recommended)
- ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- For the chocolate fudge layer
- 1½ cups chocolate chips (milk or dark)
- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- For the topping
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup crushed biscuits
- ¼ cup melted chocolate (for drizzle)
👨🍳 Instructions
Prepare the base
In a bowl mix oats, crushed biscuits, and salt.
Add melted butter, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.
Mix until everything is well combined.
Form the base layer
Line a square pan (20×20 cm / 8×8 inch) with parchment paper.
Press about ⅔ of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan.
Make the chocolate fudge
In a saucepan over low heat melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.
Stir continuously until smooth and thick.
Assemble
Pour the chocolate fudge over the base and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top.
Decorate
Drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
Serve
Cut into squares and enjoy.
✅ Tip:
For extra crunch, add ¼ cup chopped peanuts or almonds to the oat mixture.
