Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies
Ingredients:
- Brownie base:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- Peanut butter topping:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- Decoration:
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. Mix melted butter and sugar in large bowl.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
4. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and chocolate chips.
5. Spread batter evenly in pan.
6. Bake 25-30 minutes until edges set.
7. Cool completely in pan.
8. Beat peanut butter and softened butter until creamy.
9. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk; mix until spreadable.
10. Spread topping evenly over cooled brownies.
11. Sprinkle chocolate chips over topping; press lightly.
12. Chill 30 minutes to set.
13. Cut into squares.
