Cheesecake Brownies That Melt in Your Mouth – Fudgy, Creamy & Irresistible

Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients:

  • Brownie Layer

  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup (40 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup (85 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz (226 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour about ¾ of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until creamy.

Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the brownie layer.

Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Interesting Tips:

For ultra-clean cuts, refrigerate the brownies for 1 hour before slicing.
