Ingredients:
- 1 box angel food cake mix (or a pre-made angel food cake) 🎂
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice 🍍
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed 🍥
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk 🥛
- Extra crushed pineapple or pineapple tidbits for topping (optional) 🍍
- Shredded coconut or chopped nuts for garnish (optional) 🥥🌰
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the cake: If using a cake mix, bake the angel food cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely, then tear or cut into bite-size cubes. 🎂❄️
2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). 🍮🥛
3️⃣ Fold in the whipped topping and crushed pineapple (with juice). Stir gently until well combined. 🍍🍥
4️⃣ In a 9x13-inch pan, layer half of the cake cubes, then spread half of the pineapple mixture on top. Repeat layers, ending with pineapple topping. 🔁🍰
