Christmas Cookie Bars - holiday magic in every bite! 🎅
Ingredients:
- - 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- - 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- - 2 large eggs
- - 1 tsp vanilla extract
- - 2 cups all-purpose flour
- - 1/2 tsp baking soda
- - 1/2 tsp salt
- - 1 cup red and green M&Ms
- - 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring until combined.
3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
4. Gently fold in the M&Ms and holiday sprinkles, reserving some for topping.
5. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan and sprinkle additional M&Ms and sprinkles on top.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
