BUTTER COOKIES WITH JAM

Ingredients:

  • 250 g (1 cup) butter, at room temperature a
  • 100 g (¾ cup) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 300 g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
  • A pinch of salt O
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Jam of your choice (apricot, raspberry, strawberry, etc.)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder.

Gradually fold the dry mixture into the butter mixture until you get a soft, smooth dough.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pipe small circles or spirals of dough onto the tray using a piping bag.

Press a small indentation in the center of each cookie.

Fill the center with your favorite jam.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges turn slightly golden.

Let cool on a wire rack before serving. Crispy, buttery, and fruity — pure joy!
