🧁 Vanilla Sponge Cake Ingredients

  • (For ONE tier – repeat for 3 tiers in different pan sizes)
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

🔥 Cake Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 170°C / 340°F.

2. Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

3. Add oil (or butter), then milk gradually while mixing.

4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Fold dry ingredients gently into the wet mixture.

6. Pour batter into greased cake pans (large, medium, small).

7. Bake for 30–40 minutes depending on pan size.

8. Cool completely and level the cakes.

🍯 Simple Syrup (Optional – Extra Moist)

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Heat sugar and water until dissolved. Cool before brushing.

💚 Green Buttercream Frosting (Tree Look)

Ingredients:

  • 300 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 3–4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green gel food coloring

Instructions:

1. Beat butter until creamy.

2. Gradually add powdered sugar.

3. Add milk and vanilla until fluffy.

4. Color with green gel food coloring.

🎂 Assembly – 3 Tiers

1. Brush cake layers lightly with syrup.

2. Fill with vanilla buttercream.

3. Stack cakes securely using dowels.

4. Slightly taper the tiers to resemble a tree shape.

🌲 Decoration – Christmas Tree Style

Pipe green buttercream using star tip (tree branches)

Decorate with:

Sugar pearls

Mini ornaments

Sprinkles

Candy canes

Top with a gold or yellow star ⭐
