Irresistible Chocolate Marble Cake

Ingrédients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.

2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.

4. In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.

6. Divide batter into two parts; mix cocoa powder into one part.

7. Spoon batters alternately into the pan to create a marble effect.

8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
