Death by Chocolate Peanut Butter Dump Cake
Ingredients:
- For the Cake:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For the Topping:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar; mix well.
Add melted butter and mix until smooth.
Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix to combine.
Stir in milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until batter is smooth.
Pour batter evenly into prepared dish.
Bake 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay).
Remove cake from oven; immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top.
If using, add chopped peanuts and mini marshmallows over chocolate chips.
Return to oven 5 minutes, or until chocolate chips melt and marshmallows turn slightly golden.
Cool 15 minutes before cutting and serving warm.
