Chocolate Chip Muffins 🧁
Recipe for 18 muffins:
- 350g flour
- 250g sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- 115g butter
- 125g milk
- 250g chocolate
- 1 pinch of salt
- Coarse sugar (for topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (static heat).
2. Melt the butter.
3. In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
4. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, and melted butter.
5. Chop the chocolate into large chunks.
6. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth and well combined.
7. Fold in the chocolate chunks, saving a few pieces to sprinkle on top later 😊
8. Line your muffin tin with paper cases. Fill each case almost to the top.
9. Add a few chocolate pieces and a sprinkle of coarse sugar on top of each muffin.
10. Bake for 7 minutes at 220°C, then lower the temperature to 190°C and continue baking for 15 minutes.
