Ferrero Rocher Cake!
Treat yourself to the ultimate chocolate experience with our Ferrero Rocher Cake! Rich, creamy, and packed with hazelnuts for a crunchy surprise! 🍰Ingredients:
- For the Chocolate Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- For the Hazelnut Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- For the Garnish:
- Crushed hazelnuts
- Ferrero Rocher chocolates
- Edible gold dust
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix until well combined.
Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
For the frosting, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, hazelnut spread, and cream, beating until light and fluffy.
Frost the cake, then sprinkle crushed hazelnuts around the sides and decorate with Ferrero Rocher chocolates and gold dust on top.
