- For the whipped cream topping:

π Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat and Prepare the Crust:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
2️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (163°C).
Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Add flour and sour cream, mixing until just combined.
3️⃣ Bake the Cheesecake:
Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4️⃣ Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer:
Whisk together instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Spread the pudding over the chilled cheesecake.
5️⃣ Make the Whipped Cream Topping:
Beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the banana pudding layer.
6️⃣ Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the cheesecake for an additional hour before serving.
