Ginger biscuits recipe 

Ginger biscuits recipe

You will need 

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1tablespoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 salt 
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
  • 1/2 sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter ( room temperature)
  • 4 tablespoons syrup (golden syrup)

Method:

In a bowel sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon,ginger and soda then add sugar and mix well.

Rub in margarine until it resembles bread crumbs then add then add golden syrup, mix well until it forms dough ( don't over mix)

Use a ice cream scoop or a deep spoon to scoop the dough, mold it into round balls and bake at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
